I am very sorry for your loss.

The losses of this war have really hit home for us the past couple of years. Unfortunately, one of my DH's duties has been to notify families when their loved ones have died in service. It has been very tough on us emotionally to have to deal with this over and over again.

I feel for what your family is going through. I will be praying for you all during this tough time.

wow, what a difficult job!! That thought went through my head after we found out, how difficult it must be for the men that have to deliver that horrible news on a regular basis. The gentlemen who came with our news were very kind and helpful, we really appreciated them. I'm sure your husband is the same, many hugs to you and your husband, I can only imagine how difficult it must be.

Once again, thank you all for your support. Ryen's memorial will be sometime at the end of next week, I appreciate all of the support I've got here!

I am so sorry to hear about your loss. When I read your post it made me cry. I am 21 years old and I know 3 people that have been to Iraq to fight in this war..sadly only 2 of them came back alive. I've had lots of friends go over. Thankfully they have each returned. My Father was a Marine & I work for a Marine & do lots with the Pentagon so I have a great fondness and respect for our men and women in uniform.
