Okay I just read on another post that not only will Spaceship Earth be closed this July, but Haunted Mansion will too. This isn't true is it?????

They can't close both of my favorites just in time for my senior trip

Exact dates for Spaceship Earth's closure are not yet known beyond that it will start "Summer 2007".

The Haunted Mansion refurbishment has been announced for a while now.

Haunted Mansion will be closed for refurbishment June 6 through September 12, 2007.

i'm spending literally my life's savings and my two favorites will probably be closed.

I am sorry to hear of your situation, I know you will have a blast nonetheless. I haven't heard this news on spaceship earth though is it just for refurbishments?
