Default CAUTION: AirTran and Resort Airline Check-in

For all but the most expensive tickets on AirTran, it is similar to Southwest Airlines in that most people like to check-in online 24 hours prior to flight in order to get the best possible seat assignment. With AirTran, you get an actual seat number, not just a place in line like with Southwest.

    ANYWAY ....

If you check-in online with AirTran, then you can't ALSO use Resort Airline Check-in. You have to take your pick and do one or the other.

If you check-in online and then try to use RAC the next day, the computer at the RAC desk won't let you proceed; you'll have to bring your own luggage to the airport.

This would seem to make sense to me....once you "check in" on one system or the other you're marked as so...therefore you wouldn't be able to check in again.
