Pleasure Island Night Clubs Closing?

One of the Disney World guide books said their was a chance the night clubs at Pleasure Island may be closing. Something about Disney not having to compete against a major club/clubs in Orlando that are closed and it was no longer necessary to do this anymore.

Has anyone heard or seen anything that indicates this is happening? If this is the case what will disney replace the clubs with?

That could have just been speculation since PI was undergoing some major renovations, such as removing both stages and closing all the stores. While there is no guarantee the clubs there now will remain open, if they are closed they will be replaced with a new venue. Since so much money was just put into PI, I highly doubt they would close all the clubs for good. Disney still needs the nightlife to compete with Universal's CityWalk.

I doubt they are going to close b/c they just went through major renovations....
