Two Disney Trademarks Franchised to Vietnamese Company

The Phuong Nam Brand-name Joint Stock Company has introduced products bearing two Disney brand-names, Disney Corner and Disney Princess in HCM City.

Disney Corner is a brand name of office stationary and Disney Princess is a brand name of clothes and products for girls.

The two Disney brands are the results of a franchising contract between Phuong Nam and the East Media Holdings Incorporation.

Phuong Nam's managing director Huynh Quang Hung said that the company would inaugurate six Disney Corner shops and two Disney Princess shops in HCM City in mid April. It will also develop other shops in some big cities like Hanoi, Can Tho and Da Nang.

I wondered how long it would be until the Disney brand would be in Vietnam. The population is young and vibrant and their economy is growing leaps and bounds.
PLUS, the Vietnamese L O V E their children...the Disney brand will fit the mold nicely.

Looking forward to finding a few unique Disney Princess items the next time we are in Hanoi, especially a couple of special things for the twins.
