I just read on another webpage that maelstrom in norway and japans pavillions will be closed at the same time......I missed Japan last year and wanted to see it. And I love the ride in Norway. I just can't believe it. Has anyone else heard these terrible things? Thankfully I'm catching an eatery (LeCelliere) also closing in May, but I'm right before that with my ressies.

Norway is closing for a rehab and rumoured new film and theater seating at the end of the ride.

Only the Japan restaurant will be closed, from what I understand... And JPL hit it on the head with Norway... I believe Maelstrom will be closed for a month, re-opening May 24th....

I actually found the info on this website at info central and I found on Disney's website too. I was shocked at how many things are closed at Epcot all at the same time.

Unfortunately you are hitting the end of rehab season. They have some down time between Spring Break crowds and Summer crowds so the smaller rehabs are often scheduled during this time.

All current rehab info released by Walt Disney World Operations can be found in the rehabs section of INTERCOT info Central.

It just means we'll have to come back soon! I missed Pirates last year (my very first time to WDW) so I consoled myself by immediately planning another trip!
