If you are talking about the Holiday Inn Sunspree, we stayed there in 2000, and it was fine.
Nothing compared to a Disney resort but it was nice just the same.

Absolutely a must for us, we're suckers for the older type attractions.

We like how there is something for us to do while the others in our party are on the ride.

Yes you need to make a reservation, you should make reservations for any table service restaurant so that you are guaranteed that specific restaurant.

If price is the issue then offsite is less expensive for Suites. More and less costs for meals etc. Keep in mind logistics of transportation is a pain, even if Shuttle is an option.
