2009 Flower & Garden Festival Dates Released
 
The 16th annual Epcot International Flower & Garden Festival will take place March 18 through May 31, 2009 with an elaborate “Cinderellabration” topiary featuring four Disney princesses dressed in their “blooming” finery. Cinderella and Prince Charming, Snow White and the seven dwarfs, Sleeping Beauty and Prince Phillip, and Belle and Beast from “Beauty and the Beast” will debut as the grand front-entrance topiary during the 75-day festival. Princess Ariel from “The Little Mermaid” also will greet guests by the front-entrance fountain. The festival, including all gardening programs and exhibits, is included in regular Epcot admission.

Cameron Mathison to Host Final Super Soap Weekend in Orlando
 
Cameron Mathison will headline ABC-SOAPnet Super Soap Weekend November 15 & 16 at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. This year will mark the last Super Soap Weekend in Orlando as ABC’s Daytime Division embarks on the 2009 Soap Nation Tour, a collection of nationwide events designed to interact with fans on a year-round basis offering greater access to stars in more cities, more often. The final Walt Disney World weekend will be dedicated to the fans with special retrospectives and exclusive productions.

Calendar Released for April 2009
 
The Walt Disney World Resort has released it's Extra Magic Hours, Operating and Event schedules for April 2009. For guests visiting during this time, you will want to visit the Park Hours and Events pages to aid in planning your trip. Remember, all times and schedules are subject to change, so check back often.

Pal Mickey To Be Discontinued

Pal Mickey, the interactive plush that was introduced in 2003 for use at the four Walt Disney World Theme Parks, will be discontinued. The plush toy should be available through the next couple months as merchandise locations sell existing items that are currently in stock. Although Pal Mickey will no longer be available for purchase, the interactive plush will continue to operate in the four theme parks as they do today.
