“Celebrate good times, come on! (Let's celebrate)”
- Celebration
Kool and the Gang
Every post on INTERCOT is important, but some posts warrant some extra
celebration. We call these posts, milestone posts. If it’s your first post,
someone is likely to notice and welcome you to the INTERCOT Community. If you
want to announce your arrival, feel free to post your arrival in the Water
Cooler and someone should be around shortly to welcome you ‘officially’.
While we love to welcome new members, we also like to celebrate posting
milestones by members. Now, you’re free to start a party for any one of your
posts that you want to, but there are certain posting levels that generally
garner the attention of the members and staff. These are 100 posts, then 500,
the 1000 posts and generally every 1000 posts after that. These celebratory
posts occur in the Water Cooler as soon as an observant member or staff member
spots that someone has passed one of the milestones, and once they do…watch for
the fun to begin.
Don’t worry about being a new member and being shy about hitting 100 posts…every
member is important to us and we’ll have as much fun partying and celebrating
your first 100 or 500 posts as we do when ChipDale passed 41,000 posts. We don’t
even care how long it takes to get to a milestone…if it’s time to party….we
celebrate.
It is important to note though that we don’t encourage posting just to increase
your posting totals…we want everyone to become a valued member we ask that your
posts contribute to the threads you post in.
So keep your eyes open…you never know when someone will hit a milestone in
posting and posting celebration will spring up.
