What's to fill in? We're talking about ducks, plungers and galoshes... you know.. just your ordinary, every day conversations!

Does anybody have a synopsis for the last about 32 pages?

Have I said how much I truly hate this place (that's work, not Intercot) some days? (sigh)

You're not zoned for a Diane? Ok, now I'm really lost! Should I get used to this? My neighbor had a duck once, I don't think she was zoned for it either.

I truthfully wasn't all that busy, but I had a pt that lost her baby, so the paperwork and afterwork kept me running most of the night. Never easy when you have a night like that, but even harder for the pt.... if you think of it, send them a little ....

Sorry... had to catch some zzzzz's. Not in a terrific mood right now, so I may just wait to see what happens around here. I'm sorry if that's a downer.... Maybe when the caffeine kicks in, my perspective will be cheerier.

Gotta run - it's another work night, so it's off to the showers.

All this quacking about ducks reminds me of a line from m y favorite Shirley temple movie "Curly Top." Shirley is an orphan and somehow got to bring her pets pony and duck to the orphanage with her. But when the mean head mistress, Miss Minchen, threatens to get rid of the pets Shirley says:

"Oh my duck can do a wonderful trick. My duck can lay an egg!"
Miss Minchen: "And just what is so wonderful about that?"
Shirley:"Well, can you lay an egg?"

    Cracks me up every time.

(does that last line count as my question?)

Why not? If she doesn't have a plunger then her shower could easily turn into a bath anyway.. right?

Why? Is the duck sensitive about his webbed feet?
