Yummy! You have a bunch of our favourites, including lunch @ BOG, and Teppan Edo. I think the breakfast with Donald is the best breakfast buffet at the whole resort.
Enjoy!

We are trying some of those this trip too. It's been a while but we enjoyed Sci Fi for lunch-best to stick to basic burgers, shakes etc. and we really liked LeCellier back when it only cost one credit-filet mignon, cheddar cheese soup and maple crème brulee was all good

I've done solo as I've been there for business conferences. Caribbean works well for this purpose as I stayed there for that reason.
If you are far enough from the main food court, you can drive to it, and park really close.
The pool bar is nice.
Also, i've seen gators in those waters. So, no swimming

That all sounds great. Kona Cafe is one of my all time faves- the food is great, cool atmosphere. I'm a little jealous of the solo trip thing! Enjoy it. Sounds awesome.

I also have a warm spot in my heart for Boma (breakfast or dinner) in the Animal Kingdom Lodge, Jambo House.

I have tweaked my ressies. Updates are in Bold. Still trying to get a little later at the Prime Time. Almost did, but it got snatched up before I could confirm. I'll keep trying, though.

Coral Reef is really the only one I'm not big on. We did it once, it was fine, but when we left I never had that sense that I needed to go back. Sci-fi have never done, we've always done Momma Melrose of 50's Prime Time, which I love. Grand Floridian we did for the first time on our last trip. I think it gets kind of forgotten wedged in there between 1900 Park Faire, Citricos and Narcoose and V&A, but we really enjoyed it.
Some very solid choices.
-
We thought Coral Reef was just ok. It was fine for lunch but not really worth the money. I would advise if possible to book the Tusker House as a brunch and arrive in time to enjoy the breakfast offerings but stay long enough to have some of the lunch items. It is an excellent restaurant and probably the best Character Breakfast. I have heard mixed reviews of Sci-Fi. Skipper Canteen is the best restaurant in the MK in our opinion. Love the Grand Floridian Cafe's Breakfast. It is very underrated. Have fun!

Do you prefer it over Columbia Harbor House? We haven't been there since 2015 so Skipper Canteen was not in operation yet. I always found CHH to be the best counter service. Skipper Canteen beats it? What kind of food offerings do they have?
-
Thanks for the suggestions. When I made my ressies, I made sure to check the menus at the restaturants. I would love to be able to try some of the dishes at them, but my stomach doesn't handle spices very well.

I love CHH and it is the best QS. Skipper Canteen is TS and has much better food (you can find the menu on MDE and pics on Yelp), it is new and clean looking. The service is very good as the servers are all Jungle Cruise Skippers the jokes are entertaining.

The view at Coral is cool, but the food, not so much.
FYI, I believe Shutters might be closed during your visit. You might take a look.

I have tweaked my ressies AGAIN. Updates are in Bold. Due to the refurbs at CBR, I had to change my stay to the Animal Kingdom Lodge. I dropped my Deluxe Dining Plan to absorb the change in resorts. So I ended up dropping and switching times to most of dining ressies. Let me know what you think. I’m still debating on doing a dessert party for Illuminations and/or Star Wars.
