    Default Planning a 2015 trip

About when would rates be available for, and you be able to make package reservations for a spring 2015 trip? I want to make our reservations as soon as we can, so that we can start paying on it, and then hit the 180 day mark for dining ressies, and the 60 days for FP+.

Traditionally, packages for the next year were available in August, but last year they were available earlier (I think June-ish).

In the past, when I planned a January trip, I booked a room only, to allow me to book all of my ADR's at once (although, you don't need a resort reservation to book an ADR), and then booked a package when they came out.

It will be well before the 60-days for FP+, so that it all good.

I used Magical Journeys to book my trip, both the room-only, and then the super-awesome Debbie sorted out the change to a package when the packages became available.

    Enjoy planning!

I can't wait to start planning a September 2015 trip with my nephew, his wife and my 4-year-old great nephew. It'll be his first trip to Disney.

I am eagerly anticipating the release of rates/packages for 2015 too. If our dates were set in stone I would go ahead and book room only. But since we're oscillating anywhere between early August and mid-October I'm ready to shop and compare the prices. After all, planning is half(or at least a quarter of) the fun. :-)
