Cake topper?

My family is heading down in 5 days and a girl at work asked me to see if I can pick her up a cake topper for her wedding cake... any idea where I might find one? She's looking for a unique one (not cinderella) apparently she saw one online somewhere with the Little Mermaid and Eric in a boat?

Yikes! That's a ton of responsibly! Does she have a theme for her wedding? Do you know what kind of cake topper she is looking for?

Frank's is a good suggestion to look, but they don't have very many "Disney" options. The building is also not always open - it depends on if people have planning sessions that day. Disney Fairytale weddings only uses that location to immerse the bride an atmosphere suitable for planning. Could you imagine them lugging brides to Celebration and having them enter a normal office building?

We decided against everything they had available (which is not much) - I am not even sure you can purchase anything directly from Franks. That is a great question and one I should get the answer too! It would be great to know for the future if someone asks.

They have some lovely "Couture" options, but those all involve Disney making the cake for you, and having their floral put in the sprigs.

The disney ones I know they have available (not only in Franks but in the parks) are:
Mickey and Minnie
Mickey and Minnie #2 ($30)
Cinderella and Prince Charming (Over $100)
Cinderella and Prince Charming #2 (over $100)

I really would suggest for your friend to decide if she wants Mickey and Minnie or Cinderella for her topper, and purchase them from Amazon. We almost had a disaster when we received one of the above toppers as a wedding gifts and had to bring it home in our carry on. It almost didn't survive the trip!

There are toppers in different themes, but many are no longer made. The best resource I can suggest is for her to look at Ebay. If she does a google search of Disney Cake topper - looking at all the images it populates will show her pretty much anything there every was.

I did find this link that shows a few more Mickey/Minnie variations as well as an adorable precious moments bride and groom wearing mouse ears.

I'm am such a sucker for anyone planning a Disney wedding.

Wow, thanks for all the info! She is having a beach themed wedding, not on the beach but a beautiful hotel on the boardwalk. She saw the Little Mermaid one on ebay (which would be good for her theme) but didn't want to order it from there... I won't go crazy looking for one for her but just wanted to get an idea on where I might see one... Thanks again!

In the Magic Kingdom...on the right hand side as you enter the park...there are a multitude of shops. In one of them, they sell cake toppers and fugurines. They have quite a variety. If they are out of any of them, have them call around to other locations including Downtown Disney.

A friend of mine has purchased cake Disney cake toppers for each of her adult children. They are all different and all lovely.

Make sure you have a cell phone with photographic capabilities. You will want to send her photos of her choices. You don't want to arrive home and have her be disappointed. This way, it will be her choice and you will simply be the delivery boy...a hero for acquiring the item while having no responsibility about choice.
