Police Activity @ ASR?

I'm wondering if anyone heard about the police activity yesterday afternoon, august 16th at the All Star Resorts? A friend said they were denied access to the resorts yesterday by the security guard. They were told to "enjoy the afternoon" and "return in the evening." No reason was given when they were allowed back in, which was four hours later. They spotted police and canine officers at the resort gate as well. Has anyone heard further details about this

Absolutely nothing in the local media, and we all know how they just love to jump all over anything negative about Disney.

I heard about this as well on different site but no real info as to what happened. Heard rumors of bomb threat. But usually when K-9 units are involved its usually bomb or drug related.

Bomb threats and the such do occur at Disney, and majority of the time, goes totally unnoticed. I can recall a time we found a device and had to close down the resort and had dogs out, and many were none the wiser about it. Just part of preserving the show.

More than likely it was exactly what the previous post replied. They do get threats ( the sentinel wrote about it a few years ago when security was heightened) and they have to of course treat it as usual. Most of the times you will not know about it. They just go about their procedures. They were probably being a little more cautious with this one and once they completed their protocol everyone was let back in. But believe me, you wont hear about it unless something was found or was definitely deemed unsafe.
