2 Beds
Anyone know why the studios and one bedroom villas do not have two beds? ( I realize there are pullout couches). Just wondering.....

The studios at OKW have 2 queen beds but I believe they are the only ones. Have no idea why unless in the studios if you don't have a need for 2beds a sofa is more useful.

I didn't know about OKW - we are a family of 4 (two teenagers) and would need two beds, a two bedroom villa (the option at other resorts) is more than double the points of a studio. This is one of the 'why DVC probably isn't for us'. The main reason being that we don't have the up front $$!!

My understanding is that the sleeper sofas are quite comfy. I was concerned with that too. My daughter and her boyfriend usually accompany us to Disney and stay in our room. I've been told that the sofa bed is a double size sleeper. We leave in about 2 weeks and will know for sure if they find them comfy.

Disney designs thier one bedrooms with Master suites and say that it offers privacy. All only have the 1 king bed in there. They wouldn't put a bed in the living area. I have heard some people over the years say they'd prefer two beds and to have their kids sleep in the same room. I don't know I like it, my kids are teens and I do prefer we're separated. They stay up late and don't disturb us from sleeping.
The studios at Old Key West are the only DVC property that have 2 beds (and no sleeper sofa)in a studio.

I've slept on the sleeper sofa at SSR and they have been fine, got a good nights sleep every time. I do take a double fitted sheet along to cover the mattress as it stays in place better. Enjoy, only 58 days to go!

It's never too late to have a happy childhood. But the second one is up to you and no one else.

I think the sleepers are fine. When I travel w/my 2 sons I give them the master and I sleep on the sofa, much better than the sleepers I grew up with.
Our last trip, DH & I had the master and the boys and their friends took turns in the beds, sleeper, and sleeper chair at BLT 2bdrm. All the kids (ages 16-19) said the sleepers were good.

It sounds like the sleepers are comfy. So, for those of you who have slept two teens/adults to a sleeper sofa - same verdict?

Hey Petoskey, just there at the Perry for a weekend wedding. We've slept on the BC pull out...very comfortable...no problems...two adults. Have a great time...the pool is to die for...one of the main reasons we bought there!
