Default When do you get excited for WDW?

I'm not sure if any of you get really, really, excited for vacation, but I do! When do you get excited? With a year away, 300 days? 200 days? 100 days? 50 days? what day?! Cause I'm excited now, and its 300 days away!!

It's time to remember the magic!

227 days until next Disneyworld trip and about 455 until our Disney cruise. Yes, I'm excited for both. Once those plans are finalized and the reservations are made I start getting excited.

I have 2 trips in the works so I am always excited. I haven't even put away our suitcases from our December trip. We are 84 days away from our spring break trip and I am driving DD crazy. I am just a few days away from making our ADR's for our July/Aug DVC trip. As soon as that one is near, I will be planning our 2012 trip. The excitement just continues.

No particular point - sometimes I'm ready to go now even though the trip is still a ways off - sometimes I'm on an even keel even though the trip is just a short time away.

We start planning 2 years out, but I would say when we start making the ADRs I get really excited, then when I finish the itinerary, and then finally the most excited when we are packing and heading out. (I also get very nervous, however, about everyone staying healthy and getting done with work etc...)

I can honestly get excited even if I have no trip planned at all! Usually though it's the few weeks preceding the trip

We started planning for Dec 2011 as soon as returned home from our trip in Oct 2010.

Now that the Virgin Atlantic schedule for Dec 2011 has been released and we've booked a week in the Yacht Club we're on a roll and are planning our ADRs ready for booking.

PS: We had such withdrawl systems that we had to slip in a long weekend at Disneyland Paris in Dec 2010.

Usually it's when I buy the plane tickets is when it sinks in that I'm going and the excitement kicks in

As soon as the slightest inkling of a trip finds it's way into my mind I get SUPER excited!! Planning, to me, is just about as much fun as actually being in The World! It's like I get two magical experiences...one when I'm planning and one when I finally see the castle!

Well lets see....I start getting excited....well I guess that would be 1817 days out! We returned from our trip last April. I put a countdown clock on my laptop for our next trip (April 2015) the day after we returned. The countdown clock said we had 1817 days till our next trip.....so I guess my answer would be 1817 days. (Now we will probably get to go at least once before then but we KNOW we will go in April 2015......soooooo we are currently at 1532 days and counting. Can't wait!

I'd be willing to bet that your computer will crash or be obsolete before that 2015 countdown expires!

Ha Ha....well actually I already replaced the computer I put the original countdown clock on....and I imagine I will probably go through at least 1 or 2 more before 2015....I am just holding out hope that we get to make at least one or two trips in the interim.

I start getting excited as soon as I make the last payment on the trip. Then it's Disney everywhere for me! I sport some Disney Gear, watch movies, listen to the music, read tons of Intercot, watch old videos, check ride refurb listings. I get TOO excited TOO fast!
