Group Travel Dinning Plan Dilemma

My family of four DS 13, DD 7, my husband and I are scheduled to visit the world during Easter weekend 2010 with a group. We are no strangers to the world and we always stay on property when we travel. The group is scheduled to stay on property. However, they have opted not to include Disney Dinning.

Is it possible for my family to have the Dining Plan although are reservations are made with the group? According to the group leaders we are receiving a substantial group discount on our Disney hotel stay and our two day park tickets.

We really don’t want to lose the group discount on our hotel stay or park tickets. However, we would like to enjoy the benefits of the Disney Dinning Plan. This works extremely well for our family during our visits to Disney.

Last I checked, bookings done through the Group reservations department cannot book the Dining plan.

When ever we have tried booking as a group we all had to be on the same plan. Like # of days on tickets, dining or no dining, etc. If it is only a few days maybe you can just have one or two really nice meals.

Thank you ladies. I love Disney I'll just have to do without the dinning plan on this trip. It just breaks my heart.

I organize group trips for our dance studio, and we can never get the plan. We get a special pass price instead.
