Age: 42, and we never stay for the movie.
I stayed and watched it the first time I rode, I was 35, and wondered why everyone was just walking thru. I found out why very soon.
I kinda feel bad not watching it, but not bad enough to stay. I get over the feeling by going to the bakery (Kringla?) and ordering a Kringle!
Everybody else is thinking it, I'm just saying it. - Mr Gibbs

My thought was that those under 40 would not have the patience to see the movie.

When they used to force you to stay I used to watch it. I think even for a while after they started giving you the option I watched it. But last time we were there, with a 5, 2, and 1 yo's with me, walked right through! Probably will next time, too.

Under 40 and have only watched it once. I don't know that I'll watch it much when I'm over 40. Maybe over 60 or 70.

Under 40. Stay and we stay and watch the movie. I love learning about the other countries. I think it is a nice little movie. We only slip out if we've already done that ride that day.

The only thing I don't like is that it seems very loud to me. I wish they'd fix the audio part.

Usually go with my DD (under), and I'm over. Stayed once a looooong time ago, and have raced through a million times since then. We sat through it again recently (AC, baby!), and remembered why we had been skipping it. We're done!
Hope my DH doesn't want to see it when we go in November....

DH and I are both 34.
We stick around for the movie 80% of the time. It's great for the nostalgic value alone. DH gets a kick out of the over-sized computers and I chuckle at the big hair and shoulder pads Everything was bigger in the 80's
Really the movie isn't that bad. When I was younger, I didn't like waiting for it in the little town area after the ride. Always wondered why they didn't show the movie beforehand.

Not a real big fan of it, but seeing the Norwegian candy in the gift shop was neat. The ride is much better than the darkride at the Mexico pavillion.

    I'm under 40

I have watched the movie every time I ride Maelstrom except once when I sat there waiting for it to play for 30 minutes and then somebody came out and told all of us waiting audience that they were not showing it that night. It was an EMH. We thought that was funny and we continued to sit there for an additional 5 minutes giggling about the situation.

BTW, I have a copy of the video on my computer so I can watch the spirit of Norway any time. To me the video feels like home, it reminds me of the places I've been and a number of people I hold dear.

Over 40 and in the past sometimes I stayed for the movie, sometimes I didn't.

I personally enjoy the movie, I like seeing pictures of a country I will probably never see in real life and staying also provides a little extra resting time.

I am 37 and we always watch the movie. It's a pretty good movie and it's nice and cool in the theatre.

DH and I rode for the first time in May. I did not feel it was exciting. Did it once, will probably not go again. And YES, we stayed for the "film about Norway". Really think it needs an update.
