    Default Best rooms for 6

    Hi Everyone,

We have been to disney many times but never with a party of 6. (we are taking my niece and nephew for their 1st trip!) The kids are all 16-13..so we need some room.. Where is the best place to stay with a party of 6? Has anyone tried a Jr. Suite at the WL??
    Thanks for all your help!

I don't know what the price difference is between the junior suite at WL and a two bedroom villa there, but the second might be a good option!

The Two bedroom villa at WL has a "master bedroom" with a king or queen bed, a pull out couch in the living room, and in another bedroom either a pullout couch and a bed or two beds..

the added kitchen and two bathrooms were wonderful!

I believe the old "jr suite" is now the club level deluxe. Before buying DVC, that was our room of choice. The bdrm and sitting area are divided by french doors. There are 2 queen beds in the bdrm. The sitting area had a small table, sleeper sofa, a small fridge and a wet bar. There is one bathroom. It was very comfortable.

How about a cabin at Fort Wilderness? You would have some extra space, a kitchen for midnight snacks and tons of activities that the kids could do. I also think that the price might be less at FW compared to suites at WL.

I looked into the deluxe rooms at WL, because we are a family of 6. The price was the same as getting two rooms there. We decided to stay with a cabin in FW, because it was the same price as 1 standard room at WL. If you want to do WL, I personally think getting two connecting rooms would be a better choice. You would have 4 queen size beds and two full bathrooms, with 4 teenagers I think that would be better than the deluxe room. FW would work, but it might be a bit crowded with 4 older kids and only one bath. Our children are 13, 11, 7, and 4. It works for us and is so much more affordable.

I would agree, go with either a cabin or 2 rooms, it just make sit easier. The advantage of 2 separate rooms in more "bathroom" room and with that group you may need it! :-)

There is plenty of room in the cabins, but only one bathroom. That can be a a problem unless some of the party is willing to make a trek to a comfort station.

I have the same challenge. Our kids are 11, 10, 8 and 6. We usually get two adjoining rooms. This allows us two bathrooms which really helps in the mornings and bath time. The kids really enjoy it too because, although the doors in between the rooms always stay open, they feel like they have their own apartment.

For our 5 night trip w/5 adults 1 child, and baby we did a 2 bedroom villa at the WL and it was perfect. We really did the need the fridge, and dishwasher for bottles. Spacewise though it worked great for everyone, two baths, three queen beds, and a living room, oh even a washer/dryer that we didn't use but was nice to have just in case.

We're a family of six and we get two connecting rooms. Works out great --- there are 2 bathrooms.
