for school: how many pairs of shoes do you own?

I have 5 pairs. 1 pair of sneakers, 2 pairs of Teva sandals, and 2 pairs of flip flops.

Female, I have about 40 pairs but don't wear them all. That includes all seasons. Mostly wear the same pair of flip flops all the time except for dress and then usually stick to the same pair of dress shoes. I buy them to match an outfit and then end up not wearing them.

DH has about 10 pairs and only wears about 4, including his combat boots.

46 of which are Air Jordan's. I've worn them since 85' and have been buying them ever since. It's sort of an addiction All my original pairs from 85' thru 91' have fell apart otherwise I'd have more.

Okay, school was a long time ago, but, I had two pair. One Interview pair, and one pair of running shoes. I think I had the same two pair for the entire time I was in college.
