Today we had an early breakfast at the Crystal Palace in the MK. Being at the GF, we didn't have to wake up too early and we got on the monorail a bit after 7:30. I don't care how many times I have an 8am breakfast in the MK, I never ever get tired of walking up an empty main st. The line for check in formed quickly and they didn't open the window until about 8:10. My friends loved this breakfast and we had a good waiter whose name I cannot remember now. My family knows I like to finish breakfast and get out before the park opens but I couldn't rush my friends (too much) and as we walked out the park just opened.

While everyone jumped on Buzz me and my friend John, the 2 dads of the trip, went on space mountain. I hadn't been on it in a while and was looking forward toward it. And you know what? We were bored. haha After 3 times on Everest it was a bit anticlimatic. I recommend riding SM first in your trip.

Most of the group went on the race cars next even though it said 15 minutes. It was fun seeing people you've known for years experience new things and my children loved going on the rides with them. After a walk on for Pooh and Pirates we got FPs for Splash.
These early morning were starting to take their toll on the kids as they became very cranky about just about everything. We walked back to Tomorrowland and I led everyone to Monsters Inc. Laugh Floor. When my two older ones realized where we were going they both started whining and fighting with me. They are both shy and were afriad to be singled out in the Laugh Floor. My wife and friends who had no idea what this attraction was about were looking at me like I was crazy for putting the kids through this show. I told them all that after we got they would all say I was right. And they did and the kids loved the show after they picked other people. I rarely force them to go on rides (besides pirates with my daughter 2 weeks ago) but this was a show... an air conditioned show - where you sit down -- all things we needed at that moment.

When we got back to Splash the wait was now 70 minutes. In front of us trying to go through the FP line was a girl and her mother. The CM kept asking for their FP but either they didn't speak english or were playing dumb. Finally they showed him a wallet that contained the FPs. After prodding they pulled out the FPs and showed him the back. lol Then finally he got them to show him the front and the time was for about 2 hours from now. We waited maybe 5 minutes for the ride and we got soaked!!! Which was fine as it was hot.

We met the kids and the rest of the group and our kids were fighting with each other and whining still. We decided to leave and when we got to our room I forced all of my children except the baby in bed for a nap. They fell asleep fast at 2:45 and didn't wake until 5:45. With dinner at 6:30 we all dresses and zipped back to the MK and arrived right on time at Libery Tree Tavern.

We were seated on the right side on the restaurant on the slightly upper level. I liked the tables as I was able to have my back to the wall. (yes that makes me happy)
One girl screamed when Goofy came to her table and he got so insulted he walked past us to the emergency exit and sat on the stairs leading to the emergency door. he stayed there for quite a few minutes and had us all laughing. I enjoy the food here, my whole family does but 2 things I love are the sweet butter and the salad. I could easily eat the entire salad they brought for the 10 of us. I got a second bowl and demolished that too. When i asked for a third the waitress said " why don't I bring you the main courses and then if you want it after I'll bring it. I felt like saying...."No, I want salad now, you colonial wench!!" But I'm an easy going guy and told her I'll def have it after dinner. My wife said you are going to get that salad just to prove a point aren't you? That might be true if I didn't want it but after eating I still wanted it and she brought me another bowl which i slightly shared with my son.
After dinner we started to see characters come around for the second visit and everyone was joking that Pluto must have been high or something. He was acting crazy, jumping, touching everyone. I thought maybe it was a new shift and this pluto just had more energy but who knows?

When we got out we passed by Peter Pan with a 50 minute wait! ( can anyone tell me why this ride is always the longest?) Philharmagic was next store so everyone went on but my older son and younger daughter. I took them on carousel which was just starting. We were first for the next ride until a mom and 2 teens were led back to us. The girl looked at me and said some old man stole my horse and there were none left. So there I am picturing a 60 year old man jumping on the horse when she continues "...I couldn't believe this 30 yo guy took that horse from me." 30 year old!!!! What a way to make me, a 38 year old, feel old. I felt my bones creaking already. The laughs continued when I read the shirt of her brother or boyfriend that said "I get frisky when i drink whisky"

Did i mention the shirt we saw a teen boy wearing at Animal Kingdon while walking his parents? It said "I <heart> Hot moms". Now that one shocked me.

After carousel I check out the 100 acre woods and when they got out of Philharmagic we started to leave. As we walked out we saw a teacher from our childlren's school. We didn't bother her as she was with family but its funny too run into someone from home when you are 1000 miles away.
We got back to the lounge at the GF at 9:13 and grabbed drinks and headed down to watch the Electric water parade. I told everyone to go to the marina but we waited until after 9:30 and never saw or heard anything. Maybe I was wrong and you have to watch from the beach?
We waited for the fireworks and then went to bed.

    Tomorrow:
    Pirate & Princess Party...
That jack sparrow certainly makes the girls squeal...
My favorite parade is ending soon...
    AND
oh man don't tell me you're really going to make me sing 'i'm a little teapot'

Thanks for sharing the pictures! That's too funny about the salad, I would die laughing if you actually said what you were thinking to the waiter. Thanks for reporting!

What a nice room you had! That must have been a really long day - you started early in the morning and had the late night party to attend! It's a good thing you took a break to rest up!

I was at Liberty Tree Tavern that same night, around the same time. You're right....something was up with Pluto. He sat down with us, took my fork and proceeded to "eat" some of the ham from our platter. After putting it in his "mouth", it fell out and onto the floor. I was surprised at this, but did not say anything as the kids were laughing, but it was gross and unlike anything I have seen before.

TRICIA JONES: I heard that you were going to propose to Brandi Svenning at some theme park. When are men going to learn that women want ROMANCE, not Mr. Toad's Wild Ride...

BRODIE: Hey, now, be fair. EVERYONE wants Mr. Toad's Wild Ride.
