Default How would you rate Port Orleans French Quarters from 1 to 10

Hi I am Mickey Magic's DS

A little clarification from MOM...We just told the kids that we are going for a mini trip in NOV for the MVMCP and they are excited. We wanted to try a new resort, so we decided on Port Orleans Riverside. My DS just wants to hear what you all have to say about it! Thanks!!!!
Hi, I am like all of you - obsessed with Disney. I have been to WDW 17 times and we have planned #18 in June '09 (Poly).
I've stayed at CR, CBR, Poly, GF, ASMovies, BR, POFQ, and CS.

Port Orleans French Quarters is my favorite of the moderate resorts. I've only stayed there once years ago, but I'd love to stay there again. On a scale from 1-10 for moderates, I give Port Orleans a solid "10". If we're including all resorts, I'd still give it a 8 and 1/2.

I'm confused . . . Your title says POFQ, but your message asks for info on POR.

Anyway . . . POFQ is 10 in my book!! Love, Love, Love it!

I know you said POR in your post but it was a
title of POFQ rating. In any case I give POFQ a
big 10. I love it. We stay there everytime we
    go.

We love the French Quarter. We give it a 10+.
We have stayed at all the mod resorts and always go back to the FQ. We were there in Feb and we are going back Dec. We won't stay any where else. While it was being refur we stayed at Riverside does not compare. It has a great food court.

I agree, it gets a 10 with me. As you can see below, POFQ is my moderate resort of choice for my last two trips and in just 45 days I will be there again!

    Default Not Quite a 10

I love this resort, but I give it a 9 because there's no full-service restaurant. Other than that, it's perfect. It's beautiful, quaint, has terrific lobby music, and a wonderful boat ride to Downtown Disney. (Make sure you take it at least once.)

I'll give 9 (not 10) because I don't like their "low-medium-high" type air conditioning system in the rooms (even in the value resorts the conditioning system is much better).

It is a 10 in my book. We have stayed here 3 times in the past and all 3 times we had a river view room. It was just beautiful

    I'm going to give it a 9!

Minus .5 because it shares a bus with POR.
Minus .5 because it needs a better hot tub
Minus .5 just because it is not a deluxe

    Plus 1 for beignets!

Otherwise it is a great resort. We've stayed their twice and wouldn't hesitate to do so again.

    Default We like it

    Maybe an 8.264?

We find this report to be a good value. It costs more than what WDW calls a 'value' resort and is worth the difference yet is costs less than a deluxe resort.

I give it a 10. DH gives it an 8. He likes to stay where there is a Health Club to work out. I enjoy walking POFQ to POR for my exercise.

    Default French Quarter Is Great

JUST TAKING THE WATER TAXI TO DOWNTOWN DISNEY IS WORTH THE STAY, A VERY NICE POOL AND THE BUSSES PICK YOU UP BEFORE THEY HEAD TO DIXIE. LOVES BUILDING FOUR LOWER LEVEL FIRST FLOOR FACING THE COURTYARD. EQUALLY CLOSE TO THE BUS, POOL AND LOBBY/FOOD.
