    Default Baby Swap/Rider-Switch Passes

Can someone please clarify something for me regarding this, say for example you have 2 adults, and 2 children, but 1 child is too young to ride the attraction.

Parent A Rides with Child A, then Parent B would ride with Child A.

Which line do you initially get in to ride? Does the baby swap/rider-switch pass enable you to use the Fast-Pass line the 1st time around AND the 2nd time around, or just the 2nd time around?

If it's just the 2nd time around, are you able to get a fast pass ahead of time, and then when you return with your fast pass, get the baby swap pass at that time, and then be able to use the fast-pass line both times? It sounds as though the baby swap/rider-switch pass serves the purpose as a fast-pass, therefore only really needing just ONE fastpass per attraction, instead of two.

    That is correct.

Here's a scenario if you DON'T have a fast pass:

    1. You all must go up to the CM at the entrance of the lineup and tell them you need a Baby Swap pass.
    2. Husband and Child go through the standby lineup, while Wife and Baby sit outside*.
    3. When Husband & Child are off the ride, then Wife (and Child if they'd like to ride again) show the Baby Swap pass and get to use the Fast Pass line, while Husband takes his turn waiting with the Baby.

Here's the scenario if you DO have a fast pass:

    1. You all must go up to the CM at the entrance of the lineup and tell them you need a Baby Swap pass.
    2. Husband and Child show their Fast Pass and can go through that lineup while Wife and Baby wait outside*.
    3. When Husband & Child are off the ride, then Wife (and Child if they'd like to ride again) show the Baby Swap pass and get to use the Fast Pass line, while Husband takes his turn waiting with the Baby. [THUS ONLY ONE FAST PASS WAS USED... THE WIFE CAN BE HOLDING A FAST PASS FOR A COMPLETELY DIFFERENT RIDE SO IT'S USEFUL!]

    * There are some rides that you don't have to wait outside. You can sometimes go through the lineup all together as a group - but it depends on the ride. The CM can tell you what to do.

you will still need 2 fast passes, and here is why. The dad, and child would each have to have a fast pass to begin with. then you use the baby swap pass for the second go around, now if there is 2 kids, and 2 adults, you would use kid 1 and adult 1 fass pass for one ride, kid 2 and adult 2 fass pass for the second ride. TWO for the price of one, I need to talk to my wife about another kid, maybe we will just take a friends kid and get the same results.
