    Mini Games

    Pirates of the Caribbean

    How to play

    Basics

    • Click on the part on the map that you want to move to, and your ship will go there. The place your ship is heading to is marked by the image of a steering wheel.
    • Double click, and three cannonballs will go sailing in different directions!
    • If your ship has been destroyed, double click it to make it explode and send flames everywhere.
    • Collect stacks of cannons and health crates to restock your cannons and health.

    Levels

    • Level 1 - Level One is very basic and learning the ropes of the Pirates of the Caribbean game play. The Level One areas show different parts of the caves section of the real Pirates of the Caribbean attraction.
    • Level 2 - Level Two starts to get tricky to maneuver around and about with your ship. The Level Two areas show different parts of the Port City in the real Pirates of the Caribbean attraction.
    • Level 3 - Level Three is the most difficult to steer your ship around. The Level Three areas show different parts of the Burning City in the real Pirates of the Caribbean attraction found at Disney parks.

    Ship Battle

    Intro

Ship Battle is all about who has the most booty at the end of each stage. The number on top of the ship indicates how much gold you have on the ship. Every time you shoot the opposing team with a cannon, you get 5 pieces of gold. If you sink the other teams ship, you will get half of whatever they had on board. The rounds are best 2 out of 3. If your team wins the first and second stage, then you don't play the last stage. Only in ship battle, are you allowed to have AI-ships which are computer controlled. Although, playing with them may help you practice, you will receive a much smaller reward for winning.

    Tips

    • The best ship is the Wicked Winch because of it's large amount of ammo which is good for sinking ships fast.
    • Sometimes, the ammo can go through rocks and other places of land. Always try to surprise your enemy's this way.
    • Always try to lead your ships (Like in football). Always try to shoot your ammo where you think the opponent is going to be, instead of where they are. This is especially true for long distance shots.
    • Always use the arrow keys to shoot, instead of the clicking method. This hardly works and it's easier to use the arrow keys with the mouse.
    • Keep moving your ship to make sure you don't get hit by the Kraken.
    • Gold ammo will kill you or your opponent with one shot. If it's out there, this ammo is very valuable.

    Capture the Flag

    Intro

For this game, the entire point is to get your flag from your opponent's side of the map and bring it back to your port without getting killed. The rounds are best 2 out of 3. If your team wins the first and second stage, then you don't play the last stage.

    Tips

    • The best boat for Capture the Flag is the Black Pearl, because of it's fast speed to get the flag and it's ability to dodge shots.

    Rewards

    Special Rewards

Win Scale (Note that these are bonuses):

    • 5 wins = 50 credits
    • 10 wins = 100 credits
    • 50 wins = 500 credits

VMK is now awarding single use 'magic key' pins for winning three games on a given level. Winning three games on level one gets you a bronze key, three wins on level two gets a silver key, and three wins on level three gets a gold key. They open chests in the Pirates Treasure Room, which contain either nothing or a random prize. Take your total amount of loot. Add 100 to that if you win and that is the amount of credits you get. You now get magic keys for any three wins on any level for that level (Bronze - Level 1, Silver - Level 2, Gold - Level 3). You then go to Pirates Treasure Room and use the keys on the treasure chests in there and see if you won a prize.

    Jungle Cruise

    How to Play

To move your boat forward or faster, press the up arrow. To move left or right, use that button. To move backwards or slower, press the down arrow. To take pictures, use your mouse and click with the left mouse button.

    Instructions

Photograph as many Critters as you can before you run out of gas or complete the maximum of 3 cruises. Move your camera target over a Critter until it's centered in the shot and your target turns red. Then click your mouse button to take a photo - the better your aim, the more points you get!

    Film, Gas, and Hazards

You can see a counter of how much Film and Gas you have left in the top right of the screen. You need Film to take photos and Gas to power your boat. If you run out of Gas, the game is over. You can collect Film and Gas top-ups by running over the Film Canisters and Gas Tanks in the river. Be a careful skipper and watch what you run over with your boat...Keep away from the river shore and rocks, and make sure you snap any Critters that get in your way. If your boat hits something it shouldn't, it'll be damaged and you'll lose valuable Gas.

    Rewards

First time you play, you get a Toucan Jungle Cruise Photo Safari Poster and 150 credits. After that, you get 20 credits for everytime you finish. You get 750 credits for each time that you get on the high score list.

    Tips

    • Never press the up button. The second you do, you gas will go down alot faster than if you just don't ever press the up button.
    • Use the down button to stay in the room and take pictures until all of the animals go away.
    • If you don't think you can get on the high score list and don't want to waste 10 to 15 minutes playing, most people go "Nedding" which means to crash on purpose in the first room to get those 20 credits in less than 30 seconds.
    • If you want to get on the high score list, try getting on as soon as VMK opens before the inital rush comes in makes it almost to get on the list.

    Castle Fireworks Remixed

    Starting a Game

Check out the fireworks as they're launched from the ground and arm your cursor by selecting a matching icon from the bottom of the screen. Your cursor will be transformed into the icon you select. Explode the firework by clicking it with your matching cursor. The fireworks blinks faster and faster as it gets closed to the highest point of it's path through the sky. Explode it at the very top for the most spectacular display and the highest points.

    Controls

    • Mouse - Control fireworks target
    • Left Mouse Button - Explode the targeted firework
    • Left Arrow Key - Move the fireworks icon selector to the left
    • Right Arrow Key - Move the fireworks icon selector to the right
    • Space - Explode all fireworks on the screen. (Only available every 10 seconds)

    Scoring

For each fireworks you explode, you will get points based on how close to its highest point it is. The game will display a message next to the explosion, and award you corresponding points.

    • Oops = 0
    • Ok = 2
    • Good = 4
    • Awesome = 6
    • Flawless = 8

Every time you get a flawless shot, the multiplier increases by 0.5 up to a maximum of 3.0. Getting a non-flawless shot returns the multiplier to 1.0.

    Levels

There are five levels, each with a different view of the Kingdom and new Disney music. Each level takes about 2 minutes to play. There are 3 rounds per level (15 total) and are increasingly more challenging because on each level there are more firework icons to select. Only the best players from each level progress to the next, and only five will get to the final, spectacular view of the whole Park. Between each level you'll see the highest scores, and your position.

    Rewards

All players get 1/10th their score in credits. (So if you scored 501, you will get 50 credits for playing.)

Additionally, there are pins awarded for top players:

    • Fireworks Remixed Bronze Pin Prize - 3900 points
    • Fireworks Remixed Silver Pin Prize - 4400 points
    • Fireworks Remixed Gold Pin Prize - Every 10th win

    Con't of Mini-Games

    Haunted Mansion Ghost Chasers

    How to play

    Starting a Game

Click the sign that says "Start New Game" that is on the bottom left side of the screen or “Join” on a tombstone. The color of the tombstone will decide which color ghosts you'll catch. If you started the game, and someone that you don't like joins, or you don't want too many people on one team, click the skull by their name to boot them from the list. You need a minimum of one person on each side, with a limit of for per side. If you are ready to start the game, then click “Start New Game” on the Create New Game menu.

    Controls

Use your arrow keys on your keyboard, or you mouse to move your character. When using the mouse, just click in the direction you want to go. Press the control (ctrl) key on your keyboard, or the shift key, to use your vacuum to catch ghosts of your color, and members of the opposite team that have been transformed into ghosts. Touching a different color ghost turns you into a ghost. You will return to normal when the bar above you fills up completely.
While you are a ghost, players on the other team can catch you for extra points. You can also, when facing a coffin, in the angle you are facing the coffin, hold the mouse key down corresponding to the direction you are facing the coffin, or hold the mouse in the direction corresponding to the way you are facing the coffin, to activate the coffin and have another ghost come out onto the game field.

    Game Play

There are two teams you can pick from, green or purple. Say you pick green team, you will then have the ability to capture green ghosts. If you pick purple team, you will have the ability to capture purple ghosts. So there are two different color ghosts. When the green team encounters a purple ghost, they turn into a purple ghost and cannot catch green ghosts for 10 seconds. (If they are on purple team and encounter a green ghost, they turn green for 10 seconds) However, they can get the ghost taken out of them by a member of the opposite team but the opposite team gets 2 ghosts added to their total score.

    Find The Door

At the end of the first round, and sometimes second, there will be a message that pops up. It reads "Find the Right Door". This means you must go into 1 of the 5 vortexes around, and find which one leads to the next level. There's limited time to find the door so hurry up. Watch out for the blue ghosts! The team who gets the most team members in the fastest will get a 5-8 second head start in the next round.

    Rewards

For every ghost you catch, you get 5 credits. Plus, if you win, you get a bonus 40 credits!

    Bonuses

    • Every 5 games you win, you receive 180 credits.
    • Every 10 games you win, you receive 375 credits
    • Every 50 games you win, you receive 2,000 credits.

    Areas Inside The Mansion

    • The Stretching Room

The Stretching Room may be the easiest are in The Haunted Mansion Game to catch ghosts in. It is very simple to maneuver. There is a bottom story and an upper story, with stairs on the left and right sides to supply easy transport from top to bottom or bottom to top. On the top story, there seems to be two hallways creeping off about 1/4th away from either your left side or right side of the screen. Entering the right side will "teleport" you to the left side, and entering the left side will "teleport" you to the right side. This can be very useful for avoiding ghosts

    • The Attic

The Attic in The Haunted Mansion Game is a combination or two rooms in The Haunted Mansion. These rooms are expressed in this area by The Attic being the second story, and The Library being the bottom story. Down in the bottom story, The Library, there are no "teleport" places. To get to the second story, or The Attic, you will need to take the elevator "teleport" zone near the left side of the screen. Simply walk into it, and you are on the second story. On the second story, there are two eerie paths on either end near the side of the screen, illuminated by a deathly green glow. Enter the right side, and it will "teleport" you to the left side. Enter the left side, and it will "teleport" you to the right side. This is extremely helpful in the second story, enabling you to catch ghosts rather quickly.

    • The Ballroom

The Ball Room is a very simple place to maneuver around, such as The Stretching Room, is. There are no "teleport" areas within this area, however. There is a second story and a bottom story. The bottom story usually has the larger amount of ghosts on it, compared to the upper story. The upper story has a rarely used left portion of it, in which there is no coffin to get ghosts from.

    • The Graveyard

The Graveyard is a only area in The Haunted Mansion Game in which you cannot visit outside of the game. If you didn't know, you can visit the Stretching Room, The Attic, and The Ballroom while seeing the Hitchhiking Ghosts. The Graveyard is a very difficult place to traverse. There is an upper section, which has no "teleport" areas. However, on the lower section there is a place near the top of the screen and a place near the bottom of the screen in which it seems like you will exit the area if you walk into it. You will not, but you do go to the opposite place of which you were, such as top to bottom and bottom to top.

I have all the guest rooms done in that one thread, which I will bump up now. I hope to get the pins, clothes, and inventory lists started back up. After the holidays I just didn't have time to keep up with this stuff. Hope to be better soon.

Well, we get back to this thread . Apparently whenever you break your arm, you get PLENTY of time of doing nothing and sitting around in your house. The past few days have been completely boring (still waiting on new PS3 games to come out eventually....) and school has slowed down alot since the last time I tried doing this.

So as long as I have a three day weekend ahead of me, I will be working on this. The format that I started this thread on had really gotten on my nerves so I will be trashing it and try to find a different way to get as much information into here with it being readable.

I'm going to need all of your guys help though at the beginning. If you made something like guides for games, or videos of different in-game mini-games, or basically anything that deserves and is important to the game, post it in here. It will greatly cut down on time me searching through the forums because there are alot of threads that I can think of now that could go in. Credit will go to the original poster for the work they did in that particular post. Thanks in advance

If you want, you can look in the tenth post for my outline of how I want to be doing anything. I could be adding stuff to it at anytime but if you see something not there that is important just post. Mainly, I want feedback on if you like or not, what can be added, etc.

I got the 10,000 character limit in the first and second post. So that's why there are three posts with the rooms. Basically, that will be the format of alot of this post. Looks alot better than before right?

"I got the 10,000 character limit.."

    What does this mean?
    I'm lost. It happens.
I'm not bad. I'm just drawn that way.

It's like letters, puncuation (sp?), all that kind of stuff, including spaces. You can only have up to 10,000 of those. If I had all of the rooms in my first post it would be around 25,000 characters. So you get the idea of how big this is.

Had to move basics to third post because of 10,000 limit and if I would move down New Orleans Square to the second post, I'd have to change all of those links because I would have to move those pictures to the second post album. Plus the fact that that would probably make the second post over 10,000 characters as well

EDIT: Ok, I took out the direct links to each rooms because it really wasn't that hard to just find the room you were looking for in the one album link in the first post. So for now, I am keeping that there.

EDIT 2: As far as I am concerned, the first two posts are now done. Suggestions? Anyone?

Link to the Toolbar in the first post isn't working. I see it with the lands at the end.

On the buyable guest rooms, you may want to put a note at the top saying, these rooms were all buyable at some point. I know that's still a work in progress screen that we've talked about.

Also let me, Doll, and Patti know if you need us to delete our posts after your last set. I don't have a problem deleting mine.

Format in first two posts looks great.

So far today, me and cat (thanks a bunch ) have been working on the game guides and are now done. I have not included a guide for music mixer because it is straight forward, and will put links to the guides to each of the Tomorrowland Arcade games into this thread as well. Speaking of that, any important threads of anything dealing with VMK, will help in this thread and help me save time. Mainly the quest threads, game guides, tomorrowland arcade guides and anything else like that. If anyone could post just a couple of these threads or remember of some that I search for would greatly help.

Timetable is tomorrow will work on guest rooms and updating the public rooms with the new rooms released lately. Then Friday will work on the promotions and anything else I need to update.

I want to ask this again since it has been awhile. Anyone have any ideas to make this more better either format wise or a different kind of way? This could be alot better, I just can't think of any ideas.
