Hilton Head - how far is pool/beach?

Already thinking about next year's vacation! Never give dh a break!!

From what I can gather, the villas in Hilton Head do not sit right on the beach. Is this correct?

Is the beach house/pool located on the beach? If so, how far is the walk to the pool/beach?

Let me see if I can explain~

The resort itself is not on the beach, like you mentioned, although it is sort of situated on an inlet/creek area.

Across the main road/highway is the road to the Disney Beach House. A shuttle runs from the resort. It's about a 5 minute ride. Of course, you can also take your car, but during a busy time, there might be limited parking. This is where the pool is located, as well as the beach access. The Beach House is right on the waterfront, so you can walk down to the beach in minutes.

There is also a pool at the resort itself.

As Mary says there is a pool (with a slide) at the resort.

the beach and beach house with another pool - is about 1 1/2 miles away - you can take the shuttle, your car, walk or ride a bike.
