    Cool

I think you will be happy with your choice the poly is wonderful at nite. My 2 and 5 year old loved O'hanna I have written in my book that they loved the app. noodles (I don't remember what they were but, that's what I wrote down.) Also, if you time your dinner right you can go to the beach and watch the water lights parade. That isneat too.

    Cool

As a gourmet cook i think it is pretty good food even though it is a little high. The menu is found on wdwig.com if you want to know what they have to eat. The King Prawns of big shrimp are always over cooked but a great meal.. If you can find out if the water pageant and or fireworks are the time you are there, book a seat by the window. They used to dim the house lights and pump the park music right into the room. Have a great trip!

Here is a copy of the new menu at 'Ohana from the other 'Ohana thread.

    Appetizers:
    Sweet Bread
some kind of fruit spread for the bread
coleslaw (or something that looks like it, lol)
mixed greens salad with a sweet vinagrette dressing
    pot stickers
veggies (broccoli, baby corn, snow peas, mushrooms, onions)
    rice
wings with a sauce that's kind of sweet, a little terriyaki like.

Main course (all the meats are smoked)

    Pork
    Turkey
    Steak
    Shrimp (not peeled)
The meats are cut in "chunks" (except the shrimp) and served from a skewer.

    Dessert

Pineapple with caramel dipping sauce. This is included in the price.

They don't have noodles anymore. I did see a couple of kids last visit with chicken tenders. I'm not sure if they just requested them or what as they aren't part of the regular menu.

'Ohana is one of our favorite restaurants.
I highly recommend the white chocolate mousse for dessert!

    Question

Are all the meats at dinner smoked or grilled? We were considering this restaurant, because we will be staying at the Poly this time, but if the meats are all smoked, I think we will skip it.
    Thanks for the info.

Yes, even the shrimp are grilled/smoked. (the wings that are served for an appetizer aren't, does that count?)

All the meats are grilled on a big open flame. They are also marinated before they are grilled. I thought they all tasted wonderful.

Is this still all you can eat. Can you still ask for more if you want it?

This is our FAVORITE place. The food is wonderful, even the salad! We must go there at least once every trip.

We are doing this on our first day there in September. We're going to take a quick trip around on the monorail and end up at 'Ohana for dinner and then go out on the beach to see the electric water parade. Should be a magical way to start our trip!

    YES!!!

O'hana's is really great, and the kids should enjoy it, too.

We usually do a moonlight cruise on our first night too. you get to see the firworks from the lake directly in front of MK! No crowds and great view!

    Enjoy!
