The menus and prices have changed so much, I'm not sure I have a favorite any more. The last time we ate at Tony's, my husband didn't like the pasta sauce they served - said it had been changed from what he remembered. The last time we ate at the Plaza Restaurant, I was disappointed in their vanilla milk shake which used to be served in the mixing containers and provided more than a glassful. We did enjoy a lovely, and quite tasty, lunch at Cinderella's Royal Table shortly before the princesses returned to the dining room. Most of the restaurants are presenting very pared down menus from what they used to offer.

I often find the MK food all around to be a little lack-luster, and honestly I haven't been there since 2018. If you're able to leave the park, there's better dining at the monorail resorts. But, if I have to pick, my favorite table service in the MK is Liberty Tree Tavern. I love Thanksgiving food, so go figure. It's a heavy meal, though, and I know many aren't huge fans, but I think it's an underrated gem.

I haven't tried Skipper's Canteen, and I know many folx like that because it's very different from typical theme park fare. Think Yak & Yeti with a twist.

I can't say that I have a favorite either. I really have never enjoyed a table service at Magic Kingdom enough to want to return to them often. On top of that, like faline mentioned, the menus have been stripped down and cheapened up so much now that I don't even consider making a reservation for them anymore. We generally eat counter service at Magic Kingdom. If I had to pick one it would be Liberty Tree Tavern for the table service restaurants. I would much rather go to Pecos Bills for the meal or Cosmic Rays for the nostalgia and ambiance.

    We definitely have favorites.
For breakfast - I definitely love Crystal Palace
For lunch or dinner - all of my family and friends love Liberty Tree Tavern.
I'll meet you at the Rainbow Bridge.

Diamond Horseshoe - all the yummy food of LTT, in a far quieter environment with a lot more room. Best of both worlds.

We also enjoy Crystal Palace for Breakfast, but haven't been recently.

Is it easier to get a reservation at Diamond Horseshoe?

    Here's my order of preference:

    1. Be Our Guest
    2. The Plaza
    3. Liberty Tree Tavern
    4. Skipper Canteen
    5. Crystal Palace
    6. Tony's Town Square

We've never eaten at Cinderella's Royal Table. Am I forgetting anything? Someone above mentioned the Diamond Horseshoe. I don't think I've ever seen it open. I always figured the front was a facade and that inside was just space for something else.

I think Be Our Guest is my favorite at the present. I had the BEST scallops there! It's much easier to pick my least favorite. I tried Skipper's Canteen this summer. I had never eaten there and read that it was good. It was not only the worst meal I'd ever had a Disney, it was one of the worst meals I've had in years.
