I struggle with the "is it worth it" questions. Worth is so subjective. For me , if you've never been, I'd go once. It is fun to eat inside the castle and the food is generally decent. I would wait until character greetings are back to more normal (if that is important to your family) though.

For us, we've been three times over the years, once for dinner on our honeymoon and then twice for breakfast when our daughter was young. After that though, it became a "meh, we've done that". In pre-covid times, we overall preferred Akershus in Epcot for the princess experience.

For us, it was a one and done. I too prefer Akershus for character interaction. There isn't any character dining right now, so if you want to go just to see it, you can try for it. If you don't get it, you aren't really missing anything.
I'll meet you at the Rainbow Bridge.

We just had dinner there on the 19th. My 4 year old granddaughter loved it. Cinderella does come out several times to wave at the crowd. The waiter/waitress makes a point of sitting the little ones in strategic seats to allow for good photo ops. We were lucky and had a seat about 6 feet from Cinderella so I got good photos. Tilly's favorite thing was the cupcake dessert. Little ones can decorate their own. They are given 2 little cupcakes, icing, sprinkles and colored sugar on a tray. I thought the adult food was good too. I also struggle with the 'is it worth the price' but I think since it's a vacation, I kind of try not to think about it.
