Default Shades of Green - First Timer

Has anyone been to SOG recently? We booked a trip for Late Jan/Early Feb 2022. It will be myself, husband, 2 daughters (4yo & almost 2yo) as well as my father-in-law, sis-in-law & her husband. The main focus is going to be on my daughters. It will be my 2yo daughters first trip and my 4yo hasn't been there since 18 mos old.

What would you recommend as far as buildings/standard rooms. We would want a quieter room for the girls but would want it close to the main lobby, etc.

Also, any other recommendations for their ages would be great! TIA!!!!!
    Kelly

Hi Kelly. I always request a room on the Palm side. The rooms, I believe, are little bigger and more modern. The bathroom is definitely bigger than the Magnolia wing. It's further from the pool area which makes it a little quieter. I also request a room as close to the elevators as possible. This puts you closer to the lobby. They try very hard to accommodate you.
We took my the 18month old granddaughter on our last visit-pre covid. At that time the only characters she recognized was the ones she saw on Mickey Mouse Clubhouse. So to make sure she had a close up of Mickey and the gang we had breakfast at Chef Mickeys. Seeing her face was worth the whole trip. Hope you have a magical time!
"I'm so hungry! I sure hope those Princesses' can cook!" my DD before our breakfast at CRT
