Best: The atmosphere. Growing up through most of the decades represented, everything there brings back fond memories. The rooms are nice, but since the remodel they don't seem to have as much of the 'Disney' feeling. I am typically not there to stay in the room, though. LOL

Access to Art of Animation is a bonus. You can walk over there and partake of just about everything - except the Big Blue Pool. Lots to see at both resorts. The walk around "Memory Lane," with the trivia signs along the way is nice and relaxing.

Worst: Nothing really, but the bus schedules can be a bit perplexing throughout the day. It IS the largest of the resorts and can have big waits between park buses. BUT, at the end of the night (at least before CoVID) they would stack up the buses at the parks to get everyone 'home' quicker.

As you can see this is my favorite value resort. It has a big food court, although I have not been there since the Covid. We do have a trip planned for this September and lo and behold its going to be at POP.

I see nothing that would be bad.

    Hope this helps..

I was at pop last week. I love the theming and the room makeovers are great. The buses were lined up at the mk the two nights i was there late in the day. What i did not like was the skyliner to epcot. Took over an hour with over half of that spent in line at the transfer station. I avoided it after that.
The food court has the same limitations as the other venues. You need to place order by phone and cannot walk up and chose yourself. I only bought coffee there.
Dont get me wrong, I love pop. Just be prepared for a different experience right now.
This was the third trip since reopening. This one was the most crowded. I guess vaccines and spring break have prompted the need for normal, social behavior.
Cant wait till it all comes back to normal! (Especially fast pass)

One of my favorite things to do at Pop Century was booking a room at the back of the 50s section (behind the Jukebox) and watch the fireworks in the distance on my arrival night. I love wandering through the resort and taking photos of the larger than life icons. It has more of a Disney feel to me than a lot of the other resorts.
I don't really like the new rooms. They seem very sterile to me.
I'll meet you at the Rainbow Bridge.

I love the Pop. Sadly, most of my 4 kids are now deemed adults by Disney so I'm starting a new chapter this year with off-site condos. I just can't justify booking a suite or 2 rooms at Disney for 1 adult and 4 kids that are rarely in the room. It also seems like the on-site perks are less of draw now.

If I ever take less than 5, I'll prolly be back at the Pop.

Nostalgia! Love all the memories it brings back. Only stayed once before joining DVC but visit often. I love the shop and walking the property. Skyliner access makes it easier to visit now. Rooms are small but reasonably priced. Great for a solo or couple trip. Also love the options in the foodcourt. Pop can get a bit noisy when crowded as well.
