Yes, the standby lines are horrible. Anytime a new attraction opens it's that way. It was the same thing when Cars Land opened. I was there several hours in the esplanade waiting for the park to open. It was a total mad house. It was the same way last week when Soarin reopened with the new version. The standby line was all the way to the top floor when the park opened.

I saw the picture of the 300 min. wait. I can't imagine staying in a line that long. The video of the attraction I've watched looked good, better than I was expecting. Radiator Springs Racers still gets long lines and FastPasses that go quickly. Soarin' always seems to have much shorter lines in CA than Florida. I went to the new one on Sunday. The wait said 55 minutes, but actually only took 20 min. to get onto the ride.
