Disney Dining is STILL down... 6.5 hours later... Go figure it's my day to make reservations for fall.

If anyone is trying to make reservations today I wouldn't bother if it is not something you are too worried about obtaining. That goes for calling too. Nada.

I know DVC booking is down today from 230A to 2P (EST). Maybe it's systemwide?

Nope it's still down... There is something weird going on... It will let me search for meals on 11/22 (when I am looking for a dinner at 'Ohana for example) but the hours of the restaurant are stuck on 11/20. It's like their system is stuck on 11/20.

Reading stories of people in the parks right now unable to use Magic Bands for anything - Disney telling people to pay out of pocket and be reimbursed if they have the dining plan. They're giving out hard tickets to get into parks.HUGE computer problems today.

I was wondering about that, lol!! I figured they would have issues with ADR's and people claiming to have them and not being able to check etc but I didn't know the whole system is down - like everything including magic bands!! Wow - what a crisis for them (at the very least a publicity crisis)!

Yep. Just tried to book something last minute for our upcoming trip and couldn't book anything on any of the days I tried. Got same error each time.

Well now they took the time away and it reads "will be temporarily unavailable". The was planned, how could they not be ready to handle those on-site. smh

Because DVC booking system touches or connects to these other systems it probably got hosed too and they have to wait until the whole thing is fixed. Or they just don't want to turn it back on until the whole thing is back up and running to avoid more people calling and saying they can't get xyz...

Something BIG must have died on the back end somewhere and it is taking a while to get a new one of whatever it is back up and running and probably restoring the info on the new equipment etc.

I have been waiting for the day that this would happen with Disney's IT systems. Their IT infrastructure has been poorly managed and understaffed long before they off-shored jobs and created Magic Bands. This only accentuated the problem.

They're issuing KTTW cards so people can get into rooms. Paper Fast Passes. No dining vouchers, though. Guests are being asked to pay out of pocket for meals and be reimbursed later.
