Default What to pack for California for early Jan.?

Going to California and Disneyland first week in Jan. What should I pack? What should we expect as far as weather and temps?

It's tough to say right now. The weather here can be quite variable in the winter. Right now, our daily highs have been anywhere from 60-80 degrees in the past week. January tends to be a rainy month but it comes as part of large storm systems so there will be a few days notice. We don't get "pop up storms" like the east coast.

Plan to wear pants during the day, with short sleeves or thin long sleeves. Lightweight sweatshirts/hoodies will be good to have. You can pack some capris or shorts, but expect highs in the 60's--mid 70's with significant cooling once the sun goes down and in the morning. Mid 30's-40's are typical low temperatures.

Check the weather a week out. It should be fairly accurate.

But also, sometimes we have crazy heat waves in January and February. I recall highs in the 90s in the first week of February a few years ago. It does happen.
