    Default another ticket question

I will be purchasing an annual pass on my next trip. I have one day left on a non-expiring ticket. Will they apply a dollar amount to the purchase price of annual pass if I 'trade' in that ticket? Is there a discount on tickets if you are DVC member?

There is a discount on annual pass purchases for Disney Vacation club members. They have changed their policies over time related to the value of old expiring tickets so I am not sure what value they would assign to it at this point. It's possible it might be better to just use the day.

Perhaps this information from Disney might help:

Can I upgrade a theme park ticket that I purchased before Magic Your Way tickets were introduced in 2005? How about a more recent ticket from a previous visit?
    A.
Unfortunately, tickets purchased before Magic Your Way tickets were introduced are not able to be upgraded. However, while older tickets cannot be upgraded, if an older ticket does not have an expiration date, the ticket remains valid until all admissions are used.

If it is within 14 days of a Magic Your Way theme park ticket’s first use and the ticket has remaining admissions, you are able to upgrade the ticket. If it is more than 14 days after first use or if no admissions remain, then a ticket may not be modified or upgraded.

If your ticket is eligible, upgrades may include adding more days or adding any combination of options, including:

    Park Hopper Option
Water Park Fun & More Option
Ticket upgrades must be made in person at any of the following locations at Walt Disney World Resort:

Ticket windows at theme parks and water parks
Concierge desks at Disney Resort hotels
Guest Relations at the Downtown Disney Area
