Advance res for Hoop Dee Doo and Tables in Wonderland

I want to make reservations but am planning on purchasing TIW when I get to WDW. The payment for the res is due when we book so how will the discount work?

You pay full price now, you get a credit when you show up and prove you have a valid Tables in Wonderland card.

Plus, be aware that Tables in Wonderland discounts are NOT available for all Hoop de Doo Shows. When I booked a Hoop de Doo Reservation for last December, I was told I would get a refund based on my Tables in Wonderland card. When I inquired about my refund, I was told it was not available for the show/dinner time I had booked but I could get the refund if I switched my reservation to a later showing/dinner. Since we were traveling with a six year old and really booked the show for him, the change to a later reservation would not have worked for us.
