it's a small world closes for the Christmas layover install on 10/20. If you're there before then, run over to see it. Especially if you haven't seen the Disneyland version. It's different than Walt Disney World.
So sad to be missing it by one day.

Saw it was closed the whole time we will be there but didn't realize it closes the day before we get there. Boo. Sad but have seen both the holiday overlay and the regular so not that upset.

Two weeks from tomorrow I will be in the air, on the way! My park pass came in the mail yesterday, so it finally feels official.
I can't believe it's almost here. I'm so excited to actually get to be there this year, instead of being insanely jealous of Mel as she tweets about all the fun being had!

40 trips (plus two to Disneyland, and one to Disneyland Paris) and counting!
The party starts at 6pm that night. Let's plan on meeting at the Mickey pumpkin at 7pm and getting an official group photo. That will be epic! And then we'll go from there. Fireworks are at 9:30, so we'll for sure want to gather together to view those, and there is a Character Costume Cavalcade at 8:30 and 10:30. No, there isn't a full blown parade like at WDW, but I'm sure it will be just as fun. The party is over at 11pm.
With the week I'm having, it cant come quick enough.
