How to book a room

So this is way, WAY in the future but I've decided that I am going to run my first marathon at the Disney World Marathon in January 2016, which also happens to be my 40th birthday. Obviously I can't do anything in terms of booking yet but I did have a question that I'm sure someone here can help me with.

I was planning on calling Magical Journeys to get our room booked as I've heard such good things about them here on Intercot. That said, I think that I've also heard that there is a company that you can have book your room at a special Run Disney rate. Which would be the better way to go?

Congrats! Enjoy the run. Magical Journeys can get you any available public discount. If that other company has some special discount, that might be the way to go. Probably best to get quotes. Wendy at Magical Journeys has been GREAT for me.
