Default 'MyMagic+' rollout for all Annual Passholders taking place within the next few weeks

    As seen on another website:

The full rollout of MyMagic+ for Annual Passholders, including both FastPass+ and MagicBands, is planned to take place within the next couple of weeks.

Some passholders have already been included during random testing, but this next phase will bring all passholders onboard by mid-march 2014.

Annual Passholders should soon see the option to customize and order MagicBands in their 'My Disney Experience' account on the website or mobile app. Delivery of the MagicBands is expected to take place in late March 2014.

As expected, Annual Passholders will have the ability to make FastPass+ reservations in advance of their arrival in the park, in a similar way to resort guests staying at a Walt Disney World hotel.

Happy Dance!! This AP'er is so excited! I will be so happy to have a band, and make it easier to connect my card to it.

And not to mention making my FP+ reservations the night before I go from the relaxation of my own home.

I am confused, does this mean AP holders can soon book FP+ reservations without staying at a Disney resort?

If so, how far in advance?

Yes, they will be able to make FP+ reservations in advance without staying at an on site resort. I haven't seen anything regarding dates, but my guess is that it will be a 60-day rolling window.

In addition, it appears off site guests are being asked to pilot advanced reservations as well.

My only question is how do you prevent phantom FP+s from AP holders? What stops a Florida AP holder from grabbing a Space and Splash Mountain FP+ every Saturday, just in case they end up going to MK?

I heard elsewhere that they are allowed to book 6 days in a 60 day rolling window during the test.

Once you use 1 of the days, it becomes available again. So, you always have 6 days of FP+, but only as far out as 60 days.

curiosity… If I get an AP this year, can I book my FP+ while it is still the certificate or do I have to wait until I go down there and get it activated in order to attach FP to it?

I'd rather wait until I get there to activate the pass (obviously) but at the same time I want to be able to order my FP 60 days out like everyone else…
