Disneyland Fall Fun - Who's In?

So, who's going to be at Disneyland Resort around the dates of October 21-27?

We're looking to have some meet ups and fun times for any interested. Who's going? Who might be going? Where ya looking at staying? Looking for a roommate? Looking to stay off-site? First timer looking for advice?

Let's discuss and get some ideas flowing!

I'm going! Not sure on exact dates yet or hotel. After we stay at the DLH in May I'll know if I want to stay there again or go back to the Grand Californian.

I might be open to a roommate if travel dates align with anyone who needs one.

I'm really looking forward to this and can't wait to hang with everyone at the BEST Disney park.

I know Mel, I would love a non-race visit (even tho I SO Iove the races!!) just to go at an easier pace instead of 2am-midnight would be awesome!!!

We did the Walk in Walt's footsteps a few years ago and it did not include his private office. Just a quick peak at the Club 33 lobby. We would be interested in doing it again with the group.

Looks like you guys have a great group to do Walk in Walt's Footsteps. Thanks Nat for taking the lead on this. It's a wonderful tour and any and all true Walt Disney enthusiasts should not miss out, especially with the addition of the apartment. I was actually a little shocked at how emotional I got in there, and they don't rush you in and out either. We were in there at least 15 minutes. We had excellent guides who you could tell really loved Walt Disney and Disneyland as much as we do.

It is a full walking tour to all areas of the parks, and the attractions included for us were Peter Pan and Great Moments with Mr. Lincoln. When we did it many years back, I remember doing Tiki Room, so it does change. Our lunch was in a pretty courtyard there by Town Hall where you check in for the tour.

Awwww. That's really too bad, Christine. I was thinking how nice it would be for you to be at the resort away from a race weekend.

There is indeed a 20% discount on the tour through Disney Visa. Looks like each cardholder can book up to 10 people on the tour using the discount so that is great! I have a Disney Visa and I will also have an Annual Pass so we should be covered. Once we have a solid group interested, we can narrow down to a date and time and I will book it for us!
