 Wow, I received a thank you note
WDW just sent me a thank you for staying at the "World" and included artwork from a Disney Artist. Mickey to be exact, with him saying Thank you as well. It says the sketch was specially created by Senior Character Artist Don "Ducky" Williams. (Of course it is a print) It also has my family's name and vacation 2014 on it.
Kind of neat.

In all of our trips, 18 to be exact, we have only received this once. It was after our Feb. 2013 trip. I thought it was something new, but then we didn't receive them after our Nov. 2013 trip, so I guess it's just random.

We got one too for our Jan. 2014 trip. My 2 year old son LOVED it. He insist that we hang it in his room. So next time we are out I guess we are finding a frame.

I think it is very random. I received a cardstock card with Mickey,Minnie,Pluto,Donald,Goofy, and Tinker Bell on it. The card was personally addressed and dated for my 2011 trip. I thought I would get another one on the next trip but Nope!

That's pretty cool !! We bought a custom drawing of Merida at Downtown Disney by an artist there and had it personalized.It came in an awesome Disney frame.
Never got anything thanking us for a visit though!!?? What a nice surprise.

We just got one of these, and I hadn't read this thread so it was a huge surprise! The sketch is very cute, and I think I will buy a frame for it. I was admiring similar prints at the AoA gift shop. We received a colorful, personalized postcard with a bunch of characters on it after our 2011 trip. Love them both, but the sketch feels very special!
