Where are you wanting to stay? We added an extra day at Boardwalk and wasn't possible until we switched to the villas. However, from past experiences most of the crowd there were convention people...very few park going families. Maybe that is the case in your situation...

IBM Connect (formerly Lotusphere) is 1/26-30. It's a huge convention that takes up all of the Swan/Dolphin, most of the other Epcot resorts and spills over to other Disney hotels as well. It's been going on every year for as long as we can remember (we visit last week in Jan every year). They're all in conferences throughout most of the day, but you'll see them in the Boardwalk area with their backpacks eating and typing away on their laptops. No effect on the parks.
Is that when the pop warmer football games are going on?
