Live on the I10 LA to Orlando Day 1

Just a little behind. We left on Saturday for Arizona. My plan was to leave at 7am.... well we finally left at 11am.

Our first stop was a rest area just before Palm Springs. We stopped for lunch in Indio. Thank goodness for drive through, especially since we are traveling with our dog.

We made it to our cousin's house in Scottsdale just after 7pm. Had a nice overnight visit with them.

Today we left for my uncle's house. He is an hour south from my cousins. Having a nice visit with my uncle.

Tomorrow... on the road again. Going to try and make it to El Paso, TX. Wish me luck... it's going to be a long drive.

Weather... yikes.... it is HOT HOT HOT. At one point the temp read 111degrees.

Scenery.... lots of desert. Love the tall cactus in Arizona. Can't wait to see what lies ahead.

Scottsdale is quite nice but, yes, it certainly can get hot there!!
