BOG ressie slipped thru my fingers

I thought I had done it! I got online this morning at 6am (180 day mark). I found 1 available time for the week we'll be in WDW. I snapped it up quickly. I had to enter a credit card # for this (didn't know). I put in my # and entered, then the final confirmation...and I got a "server is busy" error. When I went back to do it again - you guessed it...it was no longer available. What a disappointment!

I know it's popular and I know people plan but it just amazes me that THAT MANY plan for the 180 day mark. Incredible.

I called this morning on our 180 day mark. On the phone by 7:01 am. Finally got to speak to a person at 7:38 am. All reservations were done by 7:51 am BUT NO BOG. All reservations were gone for the entire week we are there

We did get everything else we wanted, so that was good news

Online opens up at 6am, phones open at 7am.

Unless things changed, but i haven't heard those times have... For an hour, people had been able to make reservations via the web. The web is the best way to get what you want it. They prefer people use the web, they can reduce headcount at the call centers which is why there's an incentive to using the online system.

I've just never had very much luck using the online system.

I managed to snag one today at my 180 day mark on line. I was just flipping through the dates and it came up. Sunday 12/8 at 5:45, early but I managed to get it and it's our last night.

Keep trying, especially online. I have an ADR for June 22 and I didn't get up at the crack of dawn at my 180 day mark to snag it.

That' the best way. I tried via phone for an upcoming trip. It was suggested I go for lunch instead. A couple of days later, I tried on line just for ha-has and was shocked to be able to book a dinner reservation at a reasonable time - still not sure exactly how that happened.

Keep trying. I was able to nail a time at the 160 days out online.

Yeah, its all luck, really! Sometimes you have it- sometimes you don't! BOG has been the one elusive restaurant for me too! We can do it, keep trying!

I am trying to procure a BOG ressie for November and as many times as I've visited WDW and had great trips, this is definitely the most frustrated I've ever been.

Remember the good ol' days, when you could just show up at WDW with barely any plan and have a wonderful time, without worrying about planning a year in advance, like it was a wedding or something? (deep sigh)

Same thing happened to me this morning. We got a server busy but it was for Le Cellier. I tried online for BOG and was slapped in the face so I tried calling to make a ressie and was slapped again

Keep trying!

I made all my ADR's online. I was not able to get BOG on the evening I wanted but was able to get it on another night, so I just switched things around a little.
