Default Question about Be Our Guest

We are planning a trip in December and my daughter suggested we try Be Our Guest.

Today I looked on the Disney Web site and saw that it is a quick service restaurant. We were considering dinner and on the dining plan.

Is really a quick service or just for lunch. We would need to know so we can plan our dining.

    Thanks for any help...

That is correct. Be Our Guest is a Counter/Quick Service for lunch, but becomes a Table Service for dinner. I don't know at what time the changeover occurs, however.

Thanks. That is what I thought. You would think that they would show that on the web site. It would save a lot of confusion..

    Now back to the planning...

So even for lunch (quick service), it is crowded?

I imagine they open around 11ish?

Yes, lunch opens at 11am. We were there a few weeks ago and got in line at 10:45 and were seated with our food by 11:15. Was delicious and the castle is spectacular!

We ate lunch there twice a couple of weeks ago. We got in line about 11:30 and were in and getting our drinks and food within 30 minutes. There is enough to look at it didn't seem like that long of wait. It was busy, but didn't seem overly crowded due to the size of the place-it's huge! Food and service were very good. There should be more quick service places like this at DW!

I agree; I prefer quick service. Some are nice, but not overly exciting or anything. I look forward to eating there.

Did they recently change the opening time? In February Be Our Guest opened at 10:30 for lunch.

I'm curious as to when they stop lunch and begin dinner. I'm not sure that my kids would like the menu, but we'd like to grab a snack or dessert in the afternoon so that we can see the inside of the restaurant/castle.

Lunch ends at 2:30pm, and you'll want to be in line before that, so you're sure to get in.

When I was there lunch started at 10:30 - and there was a line back to Gaston's Tavern to get in. It did go fast though. As someone else mentioned lunch ends at 2:30. I believe dinner starts at 4pm.

Dinner was fantastic. I recommend both the CS and TS here!

I wonder if you do CS for lunch, can you sit in any of the rooms to eat? I'd love to eat in the West Wing!
