Default Am I the only "Foodie Freak" who does this?

Let me just start out by saying I love food If I know I'm going out to dinner tomorrow night I'm the type of person who's already thinking about what I'm going to get.

That being said one of my favorite things to do is visit the Disney menus and plan out what I would like to eat on my next trip (5 weeks from today ). Right now a few of the things I've got on my radar are: The cream cheese filled pretzels, the all american picnic Burger at DHS, the macaroni and cheese hotdog at AK, Grey Goose slush in France w/pastry... The other TS and buffet menus that I have ADR's for I look at every day.

Oh how funny. Here is what I do. I walk an hour a day. Sometimes, I take Disney 'virtual vacations' in my imagination. I 'visit' each restaurant and think about what I would eat there. The best part is I can 'eat' as much as I want and not gain an ounce.

I'm still 150 days out from my trip, but I'm already looking at the menu's and thinking of all the food I'm going to eat. The food is one of my favorite things at Disney!

    Definitely not alone!!

Fellow Foodies here and any of our trip plan now begin with "when are we going" and "which favourite first". We also love reminiscing about past meals . . . sigh . . .

As for all of you who are going down soon, I am INCREDIBLY jealous since I don't even have a plan on the horizon.

Have something from the Patisserie for us . . .

Not at all. I have been accused of looking at food going by for other diners and not really realizing saying yum. I too obsess over menus, blogs and posted pictures of food from Disney. I belong to the same club as you. We are not alone. I have tired to make some Disney recipes to try and get my fix when not able to visit. Tonga Toast is very manageable and delish and I can daydream.

You are not alone! I'm making ADRs for Oct trip this week and have looked up every menu and planned what sounds best. Can hardly wait till we get there. All of this is just one of the many reasons I am and always will be a Weight Watcher member.

With all the events happening in Massachusetts on Friday. My escape while waiting for events to unfold was to plan where and what I was going to eat on my next trip in October.

Oh we are so with you. We study menus and I also will admit to looking at what some have called 'Food Porn' on another un-official site. For awhile I thought my DD was the only one who took pictures of her food at WDW. Nope lots of people do and I love looking at pics.

I have to say, you are not alone !! I love eating at Disney and think all the time on past experiences and dream of future ones. I know some people think Disney food is just ok, and mostly it is just ok, but for me it's the atmosphere and the experience that makes me want more.

Epcot has always been my favorite park, but the food has been one of the main attractions over the last 5-6 years. I have my regular stop, Tokyo Dining, but I always like to eat new places each visit. The World Showcase is always ready to offer a new food options.

I always study the menu and pick what I'm going to order months in advance; the problem comes in when I get to WDW and am faced with the actual order. I NEVER order what I planned! Maybe next time......

I do this too. I even print out the menus for my sister to look at so we can make sure we aren't going to order the same thing. That way we can share too different meals.

There's something either very normal or very disturbing about this. Now I have to figure out which.
