Funny moment during my Disneyland vacation

Last month i spent 2 days at Disneyland. I was staying at the Quality Inn (I actually recommend this hotel, it was a good location and i loved the customer service). Anyway the second night i was actually very tired and left DIsneyland earlier than i planned. there I am laying in bed, watching tv, and suddenly i heard the loudest explosions i have ever heard. My room was shaking and the door was rattling. I admit it scared me...I called the front desk and said frantically "there are loud explosions going on outside, sounds like someone is trying to get in my room"... the hotel employee calmly said "It's the fireworks at Disneyland".....I haven't felt that dumb in a long time.

Thanks for sharing that story! I would've done the same thing. and I would have probably been hiding under the bed as I made the call!

I've stayed across Katella from Disneyland and have been startled by the fireworks too. I'll bet personnel at the front desk at the hotels there are used to those types of phone calls.
