Does anyone know how I can find out if COP will be running on Dec 9th? We are arriving at MK at 4 for the party and I want to make sure I do it before it closes.

I know it usually says "seasonal" but I've never been there when it's not running so I think you're safe to plan on it. I have seen it occasionally stop in the evenings, especially during the parties, so you might want to make sure you do it early on.

I think you'll be fine... Like Chris said, it is listed as seasonal, but I don't recall the ride coming offline in recent years other than for emergency maintenance for when the attraction breaks down...

Just be sure you go before the official park close. It's not typically one of the attractions that is open for the parties!

    I love COP!

Regardless of what you may have read, CoP is not "seasonal."

Except for occasional short refurbs, it is open 365 days a year.

    Agree!

It is closed a lot of the time after official park closing. We have been disappointed to find it not open when we have been at the MK for parties.

Yes, the attraction *was* seasonal for a number of years. BUT - since about, oh, 2004-05<?>, it's been open daily It just doesn't operate during MNSSHP and MVMCP party nights.

Make sure you go and see it before the party starts at 7:00pm!

I had no idea this was the case. I haven't seen it since 2002. Maybe it's a good time to check it out again. It might be a good napping place for my 1yo, too.
