    Default Wreck-it Ralph

I am not a film critic, so take what I have to say with that in mind.

I Loved this movie. It was supposed to be a fun movie and it was. I highly recommend seeing this one on the big screen. I watched it in 3D (usually hate 3D's because they give me a headache if not focused properly) and was pleasantly surprised by all of the eye candy. It is rated PG, but I would say this is a safe bet for all ages.

    I should add:
I had no intention of seeing this movie. I just happened to be in town with my mom and used my phone to see what was playing at the local theatre. Very happy I chose this one.

I'm not sure I'll get to see it in the theater, but it looks like a fun movie! And probably best in 3D. So maybe I'll try harder to get to it. Thanks for the review, Sean.

Can't wait to check it out! It's been getting really good reviews. One of our good friends saw it and loved it. I love classic video games so it seems right up my alley. Met Ralph and the the girl character (Forgive me for not knowing her name) in WDW last week, so fun!

I took my kids to see this today in 3D. I agree with Sean - the 3D was really well done.

We all enjoyed it. It kept my kids attention the whole time even though they didn't get all the video game references and left me feeling a like nostalgic for Centipede and Q*bert.

If you are into old school video games you can play Wreck It Ralph on the Disney website.

DH and DD and I just got back from the movie theater where we watched this movie! It was terrific! We saw it in 3D. We originally bought tickets for the regular movie showing because DH wanted to save money. Gotta love him! But then the theater was having technical difficulties so we got moved to the next showing which was the 3D version (for free upgrade) So much better I'm guessing in 3D. It was a great and cute movie! Loved the music, DD is 10 but DH and I really got a kick out of the old school video game references! Characters are cute and have a lot of heart! Oh and the Pixar short at the beginning "Paperman" was so wonderful! Really enjoy watching those shorts! Take your kids and big kiddies to see it! It is definately worth seeing in a theater!

I took my ds9 to see this today. I knew he would love it I thought I would like it. Well I was very surprised by how good it was. There are twists I didn't see coming. I also recommend staying until the very end of the credits.

Movie was tremendous, especially for VG geeks like wife and I.

    SPOILERS

Too many hilarious bits to name them all, but I lost it when the Konami code was used on the NES controller.

And I thought for sure M. Bison saying "You're not going Turbo are you?" was a reference to Street Fighter 2 bosses becoming playable in Street Fighter 2 Turbo. Much funnier that way imo.

Saw this on Saturday and absolutely loved it! Great characters, great and imaginitive storyline, fantastic visuals, and some really funny video game references. Loved, loved, loved the "Paperman" short in the beginning!

Me too! You could tell who the old school video gamers were in the theater because everyone who knew what that was burst out laughing!

Right up to the very end of the credits, where it finishes with a "kill screen"

Loved the film. Non-gamers will love it too I think.

Just got back from seeing the movie. Loved it. I didn't think I was going to like it as much as I did. Loved the story line and all the surprises.

I thought I'd be entertained when I saw this last night but I never expected to LOVE it as much as I did! Very complex storyline with a lot of great twists and turns--really enjoyed it.

I'm surprised no one has mentioned the short that was on before! Extremely beautiful short entitled 'Paperman.' Simple and elegant...I really can't say enough about it.
