Talking Your favorite view of the Castle

Ok, so I'm pretty sure everyone's favorite view will be the castle from Main Stree USA. But you can see the castle from so many different places from inside the MK. How about your second favorite view? Or a view you like or have caught with your camera?

For instance, when you ride Splash Mountain, there's an easy going part of the ride that's outside and you can see the castle in clear view. I love seeing that! I could bring up some others, but what about you?

I agree with you on the view of the castle from Splash Mountain. That was also going to be the view that I mentioned! That view is awesome at night when the castle is lit up as well.

Side note-upon arrival at WDW, there are few sights that are as breathtaking as seeing the castle from the entrance area of MainStreet USA.

Definitely NOT from Main Street. So many other prime angles.

My absolute favorite is on the bridge from the Hub into Liberty Square. Just beautiful where the Castle reflects off the water. Especially beautiful during Christmas with the lights.

From the connecting bridge between Bay Lake Towers and the Contemporary. There was something about seeing the castle every morning on my way to get breakfast.

When at WDW with Imalismom we were the first people to be escorted to the newly renovated room on the concierge level of the Wilderness lodge. We watched the wall being taken down that had blocked the hallway to the renovation project. When escorted to our room, we were thrilled to explore all the new aspects of our room, including the shower wall tiles of Chip and Dale, a personal favorite of mine. But a wonderul surprise was the view of Cinderella's Castle from our balcony that sparkled and lit up slowly as evening turned into night. We watched the fireworks from our balconey that night and I enjoyed the "Goodnight Kiss" upon the castle as I turned in for the night. Magical Moment for sure!

As mentioned above, the Rose Garden view is really nice. My favorite is in front the the Crystal Palace with the water and colorful umbrellas across the way.

I loved the shot from behind that Dumbo gave you.

One view that I'm surprised no one has mentioned is the view from the Astro Orbiter. If you time it just right, you can snap an excellent picture of the Castle.

My favorite view is one that you can see only for a few seconds every night on Main Street.

At the end of "Wishes," there are very bright white fireworks that erupt from behind the castle, and for several seconds, it can be seen only in silhouette.

It's an amazing sight -- like a tracing -- of the myriad spires and turrets that make up the architecturally complex castle. For just a small bit of time, without being able to view its color or depth, you can see the beauty of the building's form. It's breathtaking.

My favorite view has always been from the Poly. It is perfectly centered and looks miniature. When the fireworks explode above the Castle the view is perfect. Never fails to make us smile when we see the castle at night from the window in Ohana!

My wife caught a picture of that on our last trip. Your right, it is a great shot. And it's only available for about 3 seconds. Great choice!

    Default the buckets

I'm late to this thread, but my all time favorite view of the Castle, which is no longer possible, was from the Skyway or whatever it was called. We always called it the buckets. I liked to ride first thing in the morning, which provided some wonderful Castle shots.

Purely by accident, I caught the backside of the Castle-fireworks shot too. At first I thought I wouldn't like the show from Frontierland but I think now it's my favorite viewpoint.

This isn't inside MK, but another favorite Castle view is through the windows of Ohana while the kiss goodnight is going on.

They shut these down before I had my first trip to WDW, but I bet that was a great view. Maybe we should start a "Bring back the Buckets" fanpage on facebook!
