I should say that I have *never* had a table service dining experience at WDW where I felt that the food or service was awful. I've been underwhelmed by what I thought was supposed to be very good, and a few times, i've been pleasantly surprised when it was much better than anticipated. But never once have I had a rude server, or had someone forget about us.

Also, there have been times when I have ordered something that I wound up not really liking (the Jambalaya at Boatwrights and the Greek Lasagna at Kouzzina), but it wasn't that it was prepared badly. I simply took a chance and didn't like it.

I generally enjoy all of my dining at Disney! A very pleasant surprise on our last trip was San Angel Inn. We had a great meal there!!

We don't do Cinderella's Royal Table Breakfast anymore... A little over-rated and not worth a signature dining 2 credits!! HOWEVER, overrated or not, there is nothing that compares to seeing your 3 or 4 year old being in the "castle" having a meal with the princesses! That is priceless!

Prime Time Cafe is overrated for me. Never seem to get a fun "cousin" server, tried twice...

The worst meal I ever had in WDW was at the Electric Umbrella. It was dinner, and it was bad, so we never tried it again.
Honestly, if that's all I can complain about...it's nothing!

Ok, I hae really enjoyed reading this post, because i spend so much time planning our meals, that its become an obsession with my family. And every year i allow my wife and kids to pick their favorites, so each of us have to eat at places we may not like. But it has opened my eyes-

    Overrated :
50's Prime Time - we have been there 2 times , but neither were very good. We had a bad server both times which added to the poor food made it a bad experience

San Angel inn- everyone seems to love this place- i find it to be mediocre mexican at best.

Tepan Eddo - One of the most generic Japanese experiences yet- no spices, very bland and super over priced. totally Overrated

Yachtsmans Steakhouse - for the price and the small portions, this place has no right to be a legit steakhouse. Shula's is a 5 minute walk, well worth it at basically the same price.

I have to say California Grill...we went once and loved it the second time we went the food was pretty awful and the service was worse. We did not go back for a time but decided to give it another try during our visit in Feb. 2012 and that was a huge mistake. Once again we had horrible service, mediocre food and it was really loud!

The Lu'ua thing at the Poly is the absolute worst, then chef Mickeys (It's an over priced Shoneys in WDW), then 50's prime time. Service and food were horible.

chef mickey's . the food is horrible, the restaurant always looks somewhat dirty, and the staff is lazy. We have eaten here 3x and werent happy once. We keep hoping for a better experience and I have given up. It is just not a good restaurant. I hear a lot of people say Ohana but We all really love ohanas food and entertainment. I see why its always booked solid.

I think I would have to say Le Cellier. It is good, but I don't understand all the hype about it.

It's kinda funny to see H&V get mentioned. Not that the food is good, but that in 8 years of being on this site, I have yet to see one person admit to liking it in the first place.

Boma is, by far, our favorite dining at WDW!

    I was Disappointed with:
Sci fi diner.....food wasn't very good and I didn't like sitting in the cars much

Whispering Canyon...our server was a dud, the food was mediocre. I expected so much from this place after reading all the reviews here. I just don't get the hype at all

Ohana breakfast...love stitch but the breakfast was

Chef Mickeys...we have always gone here and enjoyed it immensely....until last two visits. The last time, it took so long for the characters to make their rounds that we actually left before they all came to our table. The time before that we had a group of kids from another table who wouldn't sit and wait their turn and ended up in every single picture with my kids. They were hugging plutos arm as he was trying to pose with my boys, jumping in front of mickey in another picture ...nobody controlled them. Not the parents or the character assistants. It was annoying. They did this to each character.

For those who chose Artist Point or Brown Derby, I feel sorry for your tastebuds. You may want to have them replaced. These are my two favorite restaurants at WDW.

Although it's not "over-rated" because I never hear anyone say, "You MUST try it," a mediocre meal was at Bongo's. Even the Mojito was mediocre, which is unforgiveable.

California Grill was less-than-impressive my last time there. Not bad; just not exceptional. Perhaps we ordered poorly.

I used to love Il Mulino in The Swan, but it was not good at all last time I went. Very disappointing, so I don't intend to return.

By far, without a doubt, hands down in our family it's Chef Mickey's! There's nothing really unique there for us. Restaurant decor is nothing special, food is horrible and buffet a bit scary cleanliness-wise (as previously mentioned). The main thing for me though is NOISE! Too early in the morning for all that.

The only plus is eating at the Contemporary and seeing the monorail zip through. Oh...but wait, the Avengerail?

Crystal Palace - at least when we went years ago. Maybe it is better now. But then, it was just standard buffet foot we could get in our home town.

We'd say Yachtsman's Steakhouse is the most overrated.

I understand the votes for Chef Mickey's. I'd still go there for the experience, but the food is just average.
